I provide therapy via Skype or FaceTime. This is usually called for in situations when clients are traveling or living outside of the United States and have no access to a local English-speaking psychologist. This may also be useful for Illinois residents who have no access to local psychotherapy. Typically health insurance will not reimburse the cost of Internet therapy. While I do what I can to ensure confidentiality, I am limited by the policies that govern the use of Skype and FaceTime.
